WHAT KIND OF WAX DO YOU USE?
We only use eco-friendly natural soy wax (no GMO) which has an extremely clean burn - NO nasties which means it's less likely to trigger allergies. There is no petrol-carbon soot like you get from petroleum-based paraffin candles.
Soy wax burns cooler which means that you can enjoy your soy wax candle for generally 30-50% longer than a paraffin candle. It is also biodegradable and water soluble which makes accidental spills easier to clean.
ARE YOUR CANDLES LEAD-FREE?
Our cotton wicks are free of heavy metals such as lead and are made from all-natural, cotton fibres.
WHY IS THERE BLACK RESIDUE ON THE SIDE OF THE GLASS ?
A candle wick requires trimming between burns or if the candle has been burning continuously for two or more hours. The wicks should be trimmed to about 6mm from the wax at all times - only then will the candle stop “mushrooming’ and emitting carbon.
IS MY CANDLE BURNING PROPERLY?
To avoid 'tunneling', the candle should burn long enough to liquefy the entire top layer of wax. If the wax is not allowed to liquefy or melt from edge to edge in the container, it will create a “memory ring” (especially if this is the first time the candle is lit). Once a candle has this memory ring, it will continue to tunnel and burn that way for the life of the candle.
If the wick does not stay lit, look to see if its been trimmed too short (less than ½ cm). If so, keep lighting the wick that is too short or perhaps remove some of the liquid wax .

If you feel that delivery time has been longer than it should take, please contact the courier company with the tracking details. If you are unable to see these details please contact us and we will help get your order to you.
MY ORDER WAS DAMAGED WHEN I OPENED THE PARCEL? WHAT CAN YOU DO?
If you receive your order and it is damaged, please contact us immediately. We will be more than happy to replace the item for you and ensure your new order arrives safely. You will need to send the order back to us via post or courier. Once we have received the order we will send out a replacement right away.
